 I was lucky enough to attend the Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governors Island not once but twice last year. Photos from the June 2013 Jazz Age Lawn Party can be found here, if you'd like to see.

50th Wedding Anniversary Party

M & J will have been married for 50 years this December. They were married the day after Christmas. They had no wedding, no wedding cake. There was no bouquet toss or champagne. They went to the justice of the peace with two friends as witnesses. The rumor was that it wouldn't last. As only a party celebrating these two could, the party ended with a pie fight. Sneak Peek

An adored friend, her husband and new baby are moving to the West Coast next week. As a present, I forced her to let me take some photos of her and her new baby. Here are a few. Although it's not apparent in these photos, this may be the happiest baby I HAVE EVER MET. So giggly and sweet. We'll miss you around here! Good luck in your new adventure! More to come . . .
