Woodstock, New York

I traveled recently, for the first time, to Woodstock, New York to check out the Center for Photography at Woodstock. It's an incredible center and a great town.

Provincetown, Cape Cod

Every year we try to make it up to the Cape. I really love that place.

Magic Film

We met a few friends last minute at Venus Cafe (which, by the way, has the best wait staff, ever). I took a few photos of my friend's beautiful children with the new Portra film. I was pretty convinced that there would be very little, if anything, salvageable because the light was so low. Surprise! I think it might be magic. Now, go shoot some film!

The Holidays

We spent the holidays in the Pacific Northwest. There's nothing quite like hanging out with a couple of sweet horses Christmas morning.

Geek info: These were all shot with a Mamiya 645 PRO without a light meter. Sadly it died moments later. RIP Mamiya 645 PRO.

Also, these were processed and scanned at Panda Lab in Seattle and shipped to me in NYC. They did a great job.

The NYC Marathon

After months of training (even while in Europe!) my husband completed the New York City Marathon today. I couldn't be more proud.

A Mad Hatter, a Puppy and a Big Bad Wolf

Halloween was such a blast. We went to Central Park's Pumpkin Festival on Saturday where we encountered a lot of really amazing costumes. I was especially taken with the Big Bad Wolf who came along with "Little" Red Riding Hood and the Woodswoman.
